Bowling Results
The Wayne High bowling teams hosted Howells Dodge on Thursday night at Wildcat Lanes. The two teams were faced with a difficult oil pattern. The Blue Devils teams fought through the adversity and did not let the pattern get the best of them.
In girls action, the Blue Devils were able to win match one 584--427 with Rylin Hall, Graycen Trautman / Regan Fernau and Lindsay Niemann picking up wins. Game two found the two teams battling through 7 frames before the Lady Blue Devils pulled away for a 614-428 win. Picking up the individual wins in game two were Sammi Gubbels, Regan Fernau / McKaeya Becker and Lindsay Niemann. Wayne would go on to win the Baker game 122-85. The Lady Blue Devils would win the overall match 17-4.
On the boys side, Wayne was able to find a way to battle through the dry lanes and pick up a 741-442 game one victory. Winning individual matches in game one were Dylan Jensen, Jamison Meyer / Blake Smith, Alex Rodriguez, Konnor Kai and Aiden Petersen. In game two, the Blue Devils once again struggled to get through the shot. Wayne was able to get enough marks to win the match 714-509. Winning matches for Wayne were Jamison Meyer, Alex Rodriguez, Konnor Kai / Blake Smith and Aiden Petersen / Ben Haschke. Wayne would win the Baker match 148-78 and the overall match 20-1.
In JV action, the Blue Devils played intrasquad competition. Scoring for Wayne was: Mahlik Campbell (101, 58), Lucas Allemann (97, 122), Carlyle Young (122, 116), Broderick Tiedtke (122, 170), Zane Sievers (167, 129), Tyler Johnson (81, 107), Marie Allemann (70, 160), Rylee Durant (132, 98), Samantha Wright (81, 99), Madi Korth (93, 106) and Lilliana Culy (97, 98). Wayne will next travel to Omaha Christian on Tuesday for a dual.
